Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2023
It’s funny, revisiting some of these wines is like saying hello to old friends. Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is like a long-lost best friend. Very similar to the South Island Sauvignon Blanc.
I have said it many times, I love New Zealand white wine. I think it’s world-class, in pretty much any wine variety you might try in a white grape.
The Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is no different, with light fruity flavours. It’s a perfect afternoon wine, to have with white meats and salad.
Honestly I have had this bottle so many times over the years. It’s a no-brainer, just buy it and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.
About Sauvignon Blanc grapes
Sauvignon blanc is a green-skinned grape variety that originates from the city of Bordeaux in France.
The grape most likely gets its name from the French words sauvage and blanc due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France. Its been a perfect addition to New Zealand Marlborough region.
