Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc 2015

By on January 2, 2017 in Sauvignon Blanc with 0 Comments

Another sterling example of why New Zealand makes the best god damn white wine in the world (big call I know).  The Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc 2015 was a nice drop that I’ve had many times, usually priced around $15.00 per bottle. at a Dan Murphy’s.

Look I am not going to bore you with more bullshit about Sauvignon Blanc, if I was honest its about 80% of my white wine consumption in the last 5 years.  I got hooked on it, with a girl I dated for a while, we went on a trip to New Zealand and of course toured the Marlborough wine region.

So I figure all good, love the wine not the girl, Stone Leigh Sauvignon Blanc is a seriously safe good wine full of fruit and light and crispy everything a Sauvignon Blanc should be.

From The Bottle

Stoneleigh wines benefit from a brilliant act of nature.  Stones in the Marlborough vineyards absorb sunshine during the day and radiate heat onto the vines at night, resulting in our distinctively vibrant Stoneleigh wines.

This Sauvignon Blanc displays a bouquet of passion-fruit grapefruit and tropical notes.  On the palate, lively passion-fruit is balanced by a fresh zesty citrus fresh.
