Matua CrispThere are two things I love about warmer summer months in Australia, the first is the storms and the second is I get to drink alot of white wine to cool down.  Well that’s what I tell myself.

On a steamy Sunday afternoon, I went of to the local Dan Murphy’s in search of the latest offerings from the Wine Gods.  I found this little beauty the Matua Crisp 2015 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, yes people from the Marlborough wine region in New Zealand.

What can I say, its really hard to separate New Zealand and Sauvignon Blanc , these days.  I liked it, I had it with my guilty pleasure of a bowl of fresh prawns, it went down a treat.
