Jacob’s Creek Cool Harvest – Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Jacob's Creek - Cool HarvestInterestingly enough, I had this bottle of 2016 Jacob’s Creek Cool Harvest Sauvignon Blanc about 6 months ago, totally forgettable that it was.  Then I had it twice last week over the Christmas break.  I went home for the holidays, which is always an adventure in wine drinking.

My dear old Dad loves a white wine, so I thought I would buy a bottle of 2016 Jacob’s Creek Cool Harvest Sauvignon Blanc to be had for Christmas dinner.  It was nice for an Australian White Wine.

The second time was a few days later back in Brisbane looking for something to beat the heat, I tried it again.  To be honest, it doesn’t compare to a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but would best be had at a Sunday BBQ Lunch, if you wanted to impress some friend that no shit all about wine.

From The Bottle

Harvesting the grapes in the cool of the night captures their naturally crisp and fresh fruit characters.  Jacob’s Creek Cool Harvest Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing and zesty wine with passion fruit, lemongrass and citrus flavours.
