Five Geese Mclaren Vale ShirazI am a self professed lover of Red Wine.  Nothing beats an Australian red, well a red from any country actually.  But the Five Geese 2012 McLaren Vale Shiraz certainly reaches for the top of the list.

A few years back, I started suffering from respiratory symptoms when drinking Shiraz…  thank god I got over it.  Now I pound them down as quick as I can.  This shiraz was a little cheeky, with hints of Licorice and plum tastings, it was lovely, I had it on its own..

From The Bottle

The cooler nights of the Blewitt Springs sub-region allow the development of a spicy, red berry plum and licorice Shiraz character, Maturation in oak barrels has softened and further complexed the wine.  This  wine is a more savory style of McLaren Vale Shiraz, ready to enjoy now, but will further improve in the bottle.
