2015 Monkey Bay – Sauvignon Blanc Review

Monkey Bay - Sauvignon BlancTo celebrate my website being resurrected from being hacked, I thought there would be nothing better then a nice Marlborough, Sauvignon Blanc.  I am a big fan of New Zealand white wine, and there is nothing better the a kiwi Sauvignon Blanc.

The Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc was the choice,  and it went down a treat.  After being hacked it’s so nice to be back. I found the Monkey Bay to be a little cheeky and a little tart with tropical fruit flavors in the mouth, over all not to bad.  A definite try it on a hot summers day over lunch type of red.

From The Bottle

Monkey Bay Wine takes it name from a small but beautiful bay tucked away on the coast of Marlbourgh, New Zealand.  According to legend, a monkey inhabited this secluded spot in the late 19th century.

Monkey Bay Wine is distinctively New Zealand – clean, fresh and easy drinking.  Lovely tropical fruit flavors make it a great wine with chicken and seafood dishes or just to drink on its own.
