2014 – Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Review

Brancott EstateI’ve said it before and I will say it again, I am a fan of Kiwi white wine.  In past years I would say Sauvignon Blanc would be my preferred white wine at all times, although recently I am steering towards Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio more.

Coming to the end of summer in Australia, I decided to waste a Sunday afternoon with a plate of Prawns and a few glasses of wine.  The 2014 Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc was the choice for me.

It was OK, not good or great through.  Not really sure what it was maybe a little bit on the fruity side for me, making it a little to acidic.

From The Bottle

Sourced from a range of Marlborough vineyards, this Sauvignon Blanc presents and exhilarating blend of stonefruit with subtle herbal notes, while tropical fruit and grapefruit notes compliment its fresh acidity.
